I was a lead on the Homeward Tails project supported by Ruby for Good and had a blast building the Authorization framework with Action Policy #466 to secure the application. I gave a talk on that work at RubyConf 2024.

I also enjoyed implementing support for fosterers and leading an in-person team at the Ruby for Good 2024 event to improve the design of the dashboards. As a lead, I met with the team weekly to plan out features and reviewed the open-source PRs from the community.
